GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. organised workshops on the use of the new auction platform GAZ-SYSTEM - Auctions
In the early June 2014, GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. provided a
new IT solution, the auction platform GAZ-SYSTEM – Auctions (GSA), which
introduced support for allocating capacity at interconnectors. To date,
existing auctions for quarterly and monthly products were organised
through the Information Interchange System (IIS), with nearly 500
registered users. Now, the users will be also able to place bids for
bundled capacity through the GAZ-SYSTEM – Auctions (GSA).
To present functionalities of the GSA auction platform and discuss rules of capacity allocation at interconnectors, GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. organised workshops for all the interested Customers. The workshops took place on 15 July at the offices of the company.
During the meeting, the participants were presented the procedure of registration on the GSA auction platform and were given detailed instructions on how to use the platform. The workshops also included simulated auctions based on three scenarios, which took into account different variants of offered products.
The workshops were summarized with a session of Q&As during which the Customers could obtain further information on topics of interest, and learn about future plans for development of the auction platform GAZ SYSTEM – Auctions.
A total of 60 Polish and international Customers of GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. attended the workshops.
